The GVM Teleprompter TQ-MB is a versatile tripod-mount prompter that supports up to 8.6" tablets and smartphones and has a comprehensive payload capacity of up to 11 lb. It includes an iOS/Android GVM prompting app and a remote control that works with the app. The compact and lightweight design consists predominantly of a slim base with a camera bracket on the rear and a tablet holder on the front.
Positioned in the middle with a hood to keep light out of your camera's lens is a colorless beamsplitter glass with multi-layer dielectric coating for light loss prevention. Virtually any small- or midsized camera with any lens diameter can be lined up behind the glass. The camera bracket can be rotated to support compact cameras on one side and larger ones on the other. It can also be moved forward and backward to properly line up your camera, and it is easily secured without the need for tools via a knob on the bottom.
The tablet cradle on the front can similarly be adjusted forward and backward to line up different-sized tablets and phones to the beamsplitter glass. The beamsplitter glass can be tilted forward and backward to your talent's needs to more clearly reflect the text from your mobile app. The prompter boasts an intuitive foldable design to facilitate breakdown for transport and storage in the included carrying case. The package also includes a camera support bracket, light shield, and two screws (one 1/4"-20 and one 3/8"-16).
