The 13.5' Avenger A4041B Aluminum Boom Stand 41 is a black anodized support that can be used traditionally as a light stand or converted to a boom via a pivot in the second riser. The A4041B also features a leveling leg for rough or uneven terrain. An empty sandbag counterweight is provided and strongly recommended (filled) when using the stand in boom mode.

This avenger stand is well made, and heavy duty. There is not a single ENG or EFP shoot that I go on that I don't bring one of these. It comes with a nice counterweight bag that you need to fill and you are ready to go. There is a smaller similar boom stand on the market, but if you want something that will stand up, this is it. The only way I would falt it it that it isn't that tall. I think it may be 6 or 7 feet, before the boom. Works for 90% of normal applications.
