I wanted this to expand my wide angle on my Dslr but it dos not work.
You can't get it in Focus.
But with my Panasonic SD300 Videocamera it worked.
So I kept it.

ok, this W.A.C.L (Wide Angle Converter Lens.) didn't please me on the net, but i need'ed a W.A.C.L, especially indoors where my cam has a very limited wide angle, where i had to stay a mile away too take a wide angle shot.

Too be honest, ive rented a few wide angle lens before and i know the problems
Cant Zoom All the way though.
barrel distortion on the edges, with some colour separations too, on the edges.
hard to focus.
heavy and LARGE.

and the sad this with this is that, tens to move just a bit abt 1mm top and bottom when you move it,
has a small gap for 52mm users approx 0.5mm on its circumference, so some light,dust,sand and any small particles will seep through.

but need less to say....

for the price...
this is Amazing, i use this on my JVC GZ HM-400, ITs Adds a +2 on my cam on full HD!
the spring is Hard so it wont drop
it also adds a professional feel to it
makes the user feel "OMG WOW"
and it is realy crisp and clear
And it looks cool too, and ive been looking for a quick install for a W.A.C.L because i usually shoot, fast moving things.
and i can use this on larger cameras/camcorders.

further more i suggest to the reader, and any one else out there, to PURCHASE this wide angle lens!

FOR the Price its un-reasonable!!

It give my work a complete different look. I have some problems when zooming in but I've heard that with these of lenses you are not supposed to zoom in to much.
