Electronic flash units and/or cameras can be triggered wirelessly from either the L-608, L-608CINE, L-358 or L-558 meter's optional plug-in, the Sekonic RT-32 Digital Radio Transmitter Module for L-358 and L-608 Meters.
No more tripping over sync cords, or fumbling with PC connectors. Compatible with all PocketWizard Digital Radio Receivers, these meters can simultaneously trigger and measure your electronic flash units up to 100 feet away.
You can also select through the meter's software, - Quad Triggering mode - which provides you with up to four zones of lighting control remotely. Now you can individually measure several flash units wirelessly with the touch of the meter's measuring button, without walking over to each light and turning them on or off.
You can even trigger motor driven cameras from the meter. Part of the Digital Wireless Freedom system, the L-608, L-608CINE, L-358 and L-558 are wireless exposure meters and exposure makers.
Important
This model complies with FCC standards. To comply with local broadcast regulations, Sekonic wireless systems sold in the various markets around the world are designed to operate at different frequencies. When purchasing and/or installing a transmitter module or using the meter with a receiver, be sure that the meter, module and receiver are designed to be used in your location and use the same frequency.
The FCC designation indicates the meter and module are designed for operation in the USA/North American market. Frequencies: CH 1 to 16: 344.0 MHz; CH 17 to 32: 346.5 to 354.0MHz
The CE designation indicates the meter and module are designed for operation in European countries. Frequencies: CH 1 to 16: 433.62 MHz; CH 17 to 32: 434.22MHz
When purchasing and/or installing a transmitter module or using the meter with a receiver, be sure that the meter, module and receiver are designed to be used in your location and use the same frequency.
The wireless flash triggering system used in Sekonic meters consists of two parts that are designed to be used together and operate only at a specific frequency. Do not install a CE marked module into an FCC marked meter or FCC marked module into a CE marked meter as this will produce a unit that is not compatible with either frequency.

I bought the Sekonic L-358 light meter planning on buying this transmitter in the future. It took 5 years for me to get some PocketWizard Transceivers and off-camera flashes to use it but I am very pleased with the product. The integration is seamless. If a remote camera is set up, the transmitter can trip the shutter. It makes sense, obviously, but frees up one of your PocketWizards if you don't have a limitless budget (like all of us these days.) No problems whatsoever. I had to read in the light meter's manual that the quad triggering only works with the more expensive MultiMAX PocketWizards in channels 16-32 so be aware of that before you purchase it. I haven't noticed any reduction in battery life due to the radio transmitter in the 3 months that I've had the product.

If you are thinking:
"Oh! I'm finally going to be able to use my strobe lights mounted on my Pocket Wizards FlexTT5 and take messures directly from the photometer."
Well... you're not quite right.
While this module DOES work with flex TT5, it's kind of a pain to get it to work properly.
In the first place, you just can't work with the flashes in ETTL mode so basicaly you're stucked with manual flashes and you can forget about Mini - Flex ETTL sync.
After that bombshell, and since I couldn't get it to work inmediatly, I did some research and found out that in order to get it working properly, I had to configure both my MiniTT1 and my FlexTT5 using the Pocket Wizard Utility and set both of them to manual mode (of course I did this for setting C2).
Only then would the Sekonic L-358 fire the flashes and take a good messure and the MiniTT1 would fire them also from the camera.
I think this is a wonderful item, but I certainly expected more from it considering the price. It's quite useful in the studio when taking messurements directly from the meter, it saves a couple of seconds and can be done by one person without any help; but I certainly find it a bit overpriced as I think this feature should be included by default in this particular meter.
Well, those are my two cents, I hope it helps you make the right choice.

Comments about Sekonic RT-32 Digital Radio Transmitter Module:
I purchased Flex TT5 Pocket Wizards and the RT32 transmitter so that the L-358 meter would work with my flashes and strobe lighting. so far it is not working. Sekonic support has provided very good insight with training videos so I hope to get it working with the PW in the near future.

Comments about Sekonic RT-32 Digital Radio Transmitter Module:
Having the RT-32 transmitter in my Sekonic L-358 light meter made setting up my two strobe flash units with PocketWizard transceivers very easy. However, you have to adjust the MiniTT1 and FlexTT5 to manual to receive the signal.

Comments about Sekonic RT-32 Digital Radio Transmitter Module:
I bought the RT-32 with my Sekonic L-358 light meter. I use pocket wizard transmitters for my flashes and I thought this would make my life easier and it does. I have an only complain to make: is not consistent. It doesn't transmit all the time. It's very sensitive to the light meter orientation. I don't know if this is a common problem. Overall I am happy with the set.

I have been using this product a lot since I got it and I cannot state more I much I love it. It improved my flash photography a lot. I even brought it with me for a camping trip and I used it to balance the harsh available light with one flash. It's a really good piece of your equipment for indoor and outdoor photography.

This model is wonderful because it's cheaper than the pocket wizard and being in the sekonic 358 it frees the second hand (not having to hold the meter and the pocket wizard)
Very happy with the purchase, the price and the amazingly fast and efficient service
Thanks

I'm old school. Hard to read text below the function buttons. Module should be included in flash meter for remote firing functions. (Just something else you have to pay for.) I use for remote firing capability. Love it! My second meter in 20 years. Takes the guess work out shooting so there's less testing and more bringing home the bacon type shots.

I wanted to improve my portrait work, and as I had a L358 and Pocket Wizards FlexTT5s this was a natural addition.
Its simple to install (takes longer to read the directions than to do the install.
After an issue with the initial setup (I couldn't get the meter to trigger the flashes), an email (response time was less than 12 hours!) from Sekonic and a video on YouTube provided the correct solution to my challenge. It works well with my PocketWizard FlexTT5's.

Does basic triggering only. Pocket Wizard Plus Two is the best match. Although it will work with the Pocket Wiard TTLFlex5s, the Flex5 has to be programmed for basic triggering. Range is more limited than a PlusTwo but this is not a problem in a studio environment.

This adapter goes right into the back of the flash meter. Easy set up and works perfectly. Not quite sure its worth the [$] though. How much harder is it to hold the flash meter and have the Pocket Wizard transmitter in the other hand to trigger the flashes vs just pushing the meter button on the Sekonic? Slighty more convient in my opinion. I guess I bought this because I got paid and I felt like buying something in general. I could do without it though. Maybe if it was only [$] I wouldnt feel this way.
