Comments about Novoflex Chest/Shoulder Pod - Reduces Handheld Camera/Lens Movements:
I call this my body pod. When shooting football from the sidelines at night, I am unable to have any other pod on the sidelines because of danger or regulations. This not only provides the advantages of a tripod or unipod, but it also distributes the weight of a heavy lense to my upper stomach area making the equipment seem much lighter. It is totally adjustable; can be used in different ways; and the shoulder strap works great without pressuring my neck.

Comments about Novoflex Chest/Shoulder Pod - Reduces Handheld Camera/Lens Movements:
As I have what is known as an exclusive tremor - I needed some support to help rid me of the often "Soft" shot. There are lots of shoulder supports available that cost three times what this item does, and probably not as good. construction is rock solid; and adjust nicely. this is a great product!

Comments about Novoflex Chest/Shoulder Pod - Reduces Handheld Camera/Lens Movements:
I bought this to use in conjunction with a flash bracket handle/grip as a minimal handheld rig for shooting video on my GH1. I love the solid construction, the simplicity of design, and how easy it is to change from shoulder stock to vertical waist/hip support. Its small size makes it light weight and easy to pack. This is probably one of the most overlooked items for handheld stabilization. The only thing I would change about it is that the mounting block can only be rotated to set positions....and I would like to have infinite degrees of rotation to get just the right angle.

Comments about Novoflex Chest/Shoulder Pod - Reduces Handheld Camera/Lens Movements:
When a tripod is cannot be used, in the mono pod is inconvenient due to the necessity of quick response mobility this pod is an excellent addition. Works great with long lenses and heavy camera set up. While waiting for a shot you can balance the rig on top of your shoulder with very little strain for hours. Using it to brace on your belly works better than the shoulder stock application and when used with a long lens can give you up to 2 stops in stability, if not more compared to hand holding. I would also suggest using the "Camdapter" Arca-type quick release plate in conjunction with their "Camdapter Hand Strap System" for greater security and stability. This is a strap that goes on the outside of right-hand side of the camera, around the hand. It gives great security, but takes time to get used to controlling the camera top wheel adjustment controls.
