I was very amazed with the quality of the engineering. Monfrotto requires that the rubber end is removed and a collar is connected. This design allows the tripod base to collapse and be inserted in to the monopod. The monopod with the base connected is a simple process, but very sturdy and supported my Nikon D750 camera and 70-200 mm lense without issue on my recent vacation. Love it!
Just what I was looking for. Perfect fit for my Manfrotto 3018 monopod. Easy to install. Didn’t need included sleeve in my application since base fits securely on bottom section of monopod. Would recommend.
