Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
This is my second purchase of a Raynox lens from B&H. They are made of quality materials and are very sharp from edge to edge. Don't let the price fool you, these are quality, professional lenses.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
I purchased this item to use on a panasonic HD video camera that I use for filming extreme sports. Skydiving / water skiing / skiing etc.
The clarity and sharpness is great, the overall fish eye image being crisp to the very edge of the frame.
I would recommend this to anybody that wants a great image for playback or reproduction.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
Very nice, clean lens. I wanted more of a fisheye effect but overall this is an excellent choice. For some reason people don't understand that they're not getting full zoom-through with most fisheye lenses so they reduce the rating. Absurd. Don't buy it if you are too dumb to read the specs and limitations beforehand. This lens is pretty large so make sure the circumference doesn't get in the way of anything (it blocks my built-in flash, for example).

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
I use this semi-fisheye with my Canon HF S10 and my GlideCam HD1000 to film weddings. The results are incredible. This is by far the best lens I've used with the HF S10. It's an ultra wide lens with just enough fisheye, but not too much to make your subject cheesy. Very classy and tasteful. The loss of light is slight if any. Obviously, you will get out of focus when zooming in, but you can zoom in a bit and stay in focus.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
The MX-3000 has amazing opics. It really blows me away. I can really rely on it to attain the best angles and shots anytime and everytime. It has a not-too-extreme fish-eye effect for a not-too-extreme price. It is worth every dollar. I, personally, will eventually move on to a lens with more of a fish-eye effect seeing as this one is pretty mellow, but the MX-3000 pro does not let me down at all.

I use it on my Canon HF S100 as third camera wide angle for wedding ceremonies. Excellent sharpnes, well durable built but you have to have the cover on it when storing or handling since it's big piece of glass.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
Got this to use with the Canon HF s10 and its 58mm front thread and it works great - no focusing issues and no apparent loss of sharpness (at least when viewed on a 42" LCD. Using it for close ups and plan to attach it to a bike for some action shots. Somewhat heavy which unbalances the hf s10 in the hand but no big deal, more an observation than a complaint.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
Bought it after the canon Wide angle .7x 58mm. The canon is great too , but not has wide for my taste for indoor. For filming children or familly occasion, the .3x is perfect. The only problem is thats it cannnot zoompast 3 to 4x. So a bit of changing lense in and out.

Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
Use it with my HV30 with a step up ring. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. the semi-fisheye effect is just a perfect amount of bend. it widens the view extremely, but the barrel distortion is just slight. little to no vignetting which is amazing for the price. Heavy construction, yet slim profile makes this lens AWESOME!.
Definitely worth the money. Can't beat the quality for the price!!

I use this lens for skate films on my vx2000 and it is great. There is very little vig and you can actually see a curve on objects. It's not an MKII but, for how much this lens costs its a much better choice.

All I have to say is that this is a amazing lense. It's perfect for my GL2 and makes shooting action shots 10 times easier. The only that I would ask would be if you guys could get the Century Ultra-Fisheye for the GL2. I would buy that lense in a heart beat.[...].....Again Amazing lense and Company!
Comments about Raynox MX-3000PRO 58mm 0.3x Semi Fisheye Lens:
Awesome lens for the money! It has just the right amount offisheye--not so much to where it's too distorted, but justenough so that it's not just a wide-angle. You candefinitely see a bend in the image. No vignetting, which isgood if you don't want that. I suppose you could always addthat later if you wanted that effect. My Canon GL2 had noproblems focusing either. I can't comment on the shipping, because I got it as a Christmas present, but I'm sure it gotfrom NY to California as fast as group shipping wouldallow......
