A nice small head that works with the window pod to steady the camera. The head is smaller than one I would use on a tripod, but as a travel setup it works great.

I use this head for somewhat of an unconventional purpose…for wedding video. The ball head sits atop a Bogen 9’ light stand, and allows me to quickly attach a palmcorder for a stationary balcony cam during the ceremony, a 20-watt light for some creative lighting shots before the reception, and as a microphone mount to mic the DJ’s speakers during the toasts at the reception.
The 482 Micro Ball Head is small, yet very durable and very well made. It serves my purposes perfectly, making my light stand a very flexible tool for doing my job!
