Good hypo wash. Makes prints more archival. gets the fixer out. clumps up pretty fast when you are mixing, so make sure to continuously stir the stuff when you are mixing

Comments about Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent:
I tried for a while to get by without this stuff, but had to spend too much time wiping off negatives before putting them in the enlarger. It's worth it.

Just started home developing and this is my first hypo. Can't say much about except the value and convenience. Can be made into 1 gallon for easy storage and diluted before use.

Comments about Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent:
What can you say about Hypo Clearing Agent except that it is a vital part of film processing. Saves H2O and gets rid of all of that fixer. I just wish Kodak still made it in the smaller size.

Comments about Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent:
It's not just for silver prints and film! You can use HCA to clear platinum, palladium, and Ziatype palladium prints. Two sequential 5-10 minute immersions (depending on the thickness of the paper) in HCA removes the unused iron salts as effectively as the traditional and time-consuming EDTA and citric acid baths, and in much less time than these treatments, so you finish sooner and your paper doesn't come apart as badly. If you're using one of those fine-art stocks that looks more like poster board, you may have to use longer times. HCA is also less toxic.
