I've used this to adjust iris, focus and zoom and start/stop for a camera fixed in different hard to reach locations, like for a camera over top of a medical procedure demo. Can't pull it during setup/breakdown like other cables because it will snap, but carries signal reliably.

Can you use multiple of these and chain them together? Or is there a wireless option somewhere?

You could try daisy chaining Varizoom LANC cables. There is no wireless option that would be a better solution.
