The Io LD from AJA Video is an SDI breakout box, co-developed with Apple Computers to work with Final Cut Pro. This external device connects to your Mac via FireWire and allows capture through SDI and is capable of providing four channels of digital audio through a provided breakout cable that gives you 3 BNC and 2 XLR I/Os as well as (RGB/YPbPr) or composite/S-video outputs with the supplied breakout cable. Other features include RS-422 remote deck control, professional-quality genlock, and optional expansion with the Io LA in a rackmount configuration.
