Comments about Beyerdynamic Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280:
They are a huge improvement over the stock ATH-M50 pads. The old ones made my ears sweat and weren't grippy enough. These solve both issues, while being the comfiest thing since the invention of the La-Z-Boy. (Okay, slight exaggeration, but you get the point.) Pick 'em up, you won't be sorry.

Bought these for my Sony V6 headphones after reading the reviews on B&H, they are super comfortable and and easy to replace. Highly recommend these especially if your plan to wear them for a few hours. Spoil yourself and grab a pair you wont be disappointed.

Just as everyone has mentioned, this did not come with instructions. However, someone did mention that you can install it with the help of a credit card. Basically, you remove the old ear cushions and shimmy the new pair into to grooves with a credit card - it's pretty easy. I feel that this new pair will last much longer than the ones that came with the Sony headphones.

Purchased these recently with the free shipping and I would like to say the delivery was very quick. Put them on my Sony MDR-7506's and do not get the ear forecast of hot with a chance of sweat. These definitely keep the ears much cooler & comfortable. The bass seems to be deeper and not as pronounced as the original Sony's, which is one of the reasons I loved the sound from the Sony's. I noticed that the fabric between the speaker and my ear(separate piece with the Beyerdynamics) on these seem a bit thicker than the Sony ones (which are connected to the sony ear cushions). I may cut out the Sony ones and try them in place of the Beyerdynamic ones to see if this will help the bass sound. Will post If I do this. Installation simply requires slowly stretching them over the earphones then I carefully used a guitar pick to push it into the crevice. Also, you don't need to use the plastic inserts that came with the product. Very happy doing business with B&H.

these velour pads are a great replacement for my original pleather pads that came with the sony mdr-v6! much more comfortable, which lets me keep them on for prolonged periods of time. it was a little difficult putting it on at first, but i used a thin ruler to help push pads. get them!

Comments about Beyerdynamic Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280:
This is definitely an upgrade in more ways than one to my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. First of all the comfort factor, I can wear these all day with the Beyer pads, where I could go no more than an hour with the stock Sony's. I even forget I'm wearing headphones. These go around my ears instead of on.
This being my second replacement set of this headphone model, my originals finally gave up the ghost, after 15 years, I know these phones and the old pads very well.
Next, the bass response tightens up, outside noise levels decrease and the overall sound of already great headphones improves. This is the best upgrade to a piece of equipment I have made in a very long time. I'm smiling.

These are much nicer than the original. They fit Sony 7506, although it takes a little stretching and fiddling to get them in place. Any looser and they wouldn't stay in place. The velour cushioning is more comfortable than the original vinyl (less sweaty feeling). I'll be curious to see how long these last. I rated them 4 stars. A product has to be spectacular to earn 5 stars. These are nice earphone cushions, nothing more. If they were $10 they might have earned 5.

I'm using those with a Sony MDR-7506.
They are much more comfortable than the original earpads; you can wear them for hours and your ears won't be hot.
I don't find that they change the sound much; and people who think they do say it's for the better.
I haven't used them for a very long time, but they do seem less likely to disintegrate than the pleather originals.
And finally, I find that the headphones even look nicer with these on; the velour adds luxury to the semi-rugged design (of Sony V6 and 7506).

Replaced my sony mdr v6 stock pads with these. The pads dont fall off and they still feel snug. I wear these after coming out of the shower and the pads dont feel as if they are altered in any way because of the water.
My only complaint is that they are still tight on my ears the same way the stock pads were. I have medium to large sized ears. Its just a sizing issue, I might need bigger headphones.

A nice upgrade from the pleather cushions that came with my MDRV6 headphones. These are more comfortable and fairly easy to install. A little better sound and the velour texture grips your head better. Also the stickiness from sweat beading on the pleather isn't to be found with these.

Comments about Beyerdynamic Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280:
Definitely better than the well used, pleather-less pads that came with my Sony MDR-V6s :-P
I put these on, and I could hear the bass more distinctly, and a lot more treble. So much more, in fact, that it seemed I had to turn the volume down so as not to damage my hearing. They suppress outside noise a lot better than my V6 originals, and they are also more comfortable! They still will get a little bit sweaty if you're in a hot environment, but not so much as to make you want to not wear them.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend them as a replacement for any broken-down Sony pads!

I needed to replace the ear cushions on my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. The original Sony pads start to fall apart after a few years and I had replaced them 2 or 3 times in the past. Hopefully the Beyerdynamics will last a lot longer than Sony's.

Comments about Beyerdynamic Padded Earcushions for DT250/DT280:
I have two pairs of Sony MDR7506 headphones, both about 10-12 years old, both with earpads that were deteriorating. With a little searching I found that the Beyerdynamic DT250 replacements pads fit the Sony headphones. I replaced the pads on both headphones (the first one about 2 years ago and the second one last week) and I am very pleased. Installation was very easy - just a matter of pulling off the old pads and stretching the new pads onto the headphones.

Bought these for my Sony V6's and was not disappointed. They are a softer suede material than the fake leather the stock phones came with. Seem like they will last a long time. Warning: they do get a little warmer than the last ones and arent as forgiving on the ears. I'm sure they'll get better once I break them in a bit more.
