I use these mics in the field for all sorts of interviews, quick, long, inside, outside, and they are simply amazing. The quality of the sound is incredible! The only thing I don't like is that you have to really know what you are doing to set them up. But the shortened step by step cards that came with them makes a huge difference when you are in a hurry in the field!!!

This is the best bang for your buck if this is all you can afford. The quality is clear, every now and then, if you're doing a long interview, you might get some interference flares, but switching the frequency tends to do the trick. For the most part sound is crystal clear, the packs can take a beating. Spent several weeks beating them up in Haiti and these puppies handled rain, shine, and whatever else I threw at them.

Have 15 sets in use throughout the world. Good sound quality and decent range. Mic element wire breaks fairly regularly, so a back-up is necessary. Price point is very good for pro quality.

I have been using this kit for a while now. Once they are set up correctly they brilliant. As long as you take the time to set them up correctly there are very few things to adjust. I use rechargeable batteries in both transmitter and receiver and they last a long time.

It's a good product but we ran into considerable challenges with interference and cutting out when we used two lavs (one on each actor). The 'line of sight' issue kept cropping up and we had hoped that it would work better from about 20 feet when the actor turned her back (and lost 'line of sight').

Pro video work and EFP... affordable, great build, just a fine product at a fair price. Have used mine for 2 years or so ... wouldn't think of anything else for my field audio work. us a behrringer ubb1002 mixer... a gem for the money. makes a terrific combo. set your levels properly with no clipping going on and your are good to go with clean, crisp audio.

have a sennheiser diversity handheld and its range is unbelieveable.. top notch equipment.

I use this microphone to shoot a river-based television show. It takes a beating everyday but has held up so far. I am constantly filming in loud locations and outdoors. As long as the person wearing the microphone uses their body to block the wind or other noises, it works great.

Pros: Sturdy, dependable microphone. Works great for quick interviews because it'll easily pick up a second person standing close by.

Cons: As with any piece of audio/video equipment, it's sensitive to outdoor temperatures.

easy to set up and gives great audio. Comes with a easy set up guide which is very convenient. Except the mount is hard to get tight on your shoe afraid it was going to slide off but not a major concern gave great audio thats all I cared about.

Have used this models for sometime now and with the proper settings it sounds very clean. Make sure your camera ios not using auto-gain and you'll get crisp recordings. Mic cable is a little flimsy but if treated with care it lasts.

The Evolution G2 100 series - UHF Lavalier System (B) by Sennheiser Electronic has aclean crisp sound. I have used other Lav systems that had static or sounded muffed. Not the case with the Evolution G2 series. When you first pulled it out of the box all you have to do is put in the batteries and it is set up for you already. But if you want to mess around with the frequency (incase you are catching interference) or sensitivity it is very easy to do so. In fact everything about it is very easy. The best part about it is that it came with every thing I needed (cords, camera mount adaptor and batteries). The pick up on the unit it great and sound is clear and crisp. I would highly recommend the Evolution G2 100 series - UHF Lavalier System (B) by Sennheiser Electronic to everyone.

Bought this for shooting an industrial video on a ship in an environment with a lot of metal and RF noise. The system worked better than some other wireless mics I've tried, although in some cases inference was still noticeable.

The transmitter and receiver are small (which is great) and metal, and feel very rugged (they look plastic on the picture, but the body is metal).

A friend recommended Sennheiser wireless microphones to me and I had a little experience with a handheld microphone, so when I needed a lavalier mic I didn't really consider any other brand. I use it for wedding videography and so far is has worked flawlessly. I was a bit skeptical about the clip on mic that came with it, but the sound I got was crisp, clear, and it picked up everyone in the nearby area very well, even outside on a windy day. All parts feel very solid and well-built, and I like that the connectors screw onto the transmitter and receiver so they can't be pulled out accidentally. I would highly recommend this, or any Sennheiser wireless microphone. They are the best out there for the money.

This lav is excellent. It gives great sound & I haven't had a problem with interference yet. The factory settings for sensitivity are a little high, but that is easily adjustable. I would be helpful if the mic clip were removable, so that it could be flipped in the other direction. Also, the owner's manual is pretty much useless. Overall, a very good product.
