Comments about Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series - UHF Lavalier System (C):
I use this microphone during weddings that I tape as a videographer. I do not have interference with it, and it does not cut out. I put it on the officiant of the ceremony and can still pick up the couple's vows perfectly. I purchased this again for one of my freelancers to use.

Comments about Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series - UHF Lavalier System (C):
This system offers good value for the money but, is not of high enough quality for film dialog. The ME2 lav mic in particular is noisey and cannot be used under clothing. The single diversity setup is susceptible to drop out in high traffic areas not in the line of sight.
For wedding and ENG where the mic is on top this system will work fine.
For film, the unit might have acceptable results in conjunction with the MKE2 'Gold-C' high quality lav microphone.

Comments about Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series - UHF Lavalier System (C):
This is a great microphone. Locks into channel and has great reception. The audio couldn't sound better from such a small lav mic. Only complaint is with large amounts of use the wire on the plug side of the mic will break, resulting in having to purchase another mic. Precaution could prolong its life.
Comments about Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series - UHF Lavalier System (C):
I bought the Sennheiser on the recommendation of B&H and have not been disappointed. It's a bit more expensive that competing brands but it provides professional level audio. I shoot weddings and other events and have found the audio quality to be outstanding. Both the receiver and transmitter are solidly built. The displays are bright and easy to see. They contain full operational information. Scrolling through menu options is easy and intuitive. Both units use two AA batteries which are easy to install -- both insert in the same direction which saves time. The microphone and audio cables use mini RCA plugs which screw down for secure connections. There are over a thousand channels available, both pre-defined and user selectable so finding a free channel has never been a problem. A pilot tone between transmitter and receiver blocks any potential interference. The sound quality from the omni microphone is crystal clear. Battery life is excellent. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of this system. It's solid, well engineered, easy to use and it provides very high quality results. Highly recommended!
Expertise: Event videography since 2004
Problems Encountered: None It works as advertised and provides excellent results.
Comments about Sennheiser Evolution G2 100 Series - UHF Lavalier System (C):
I film weddings and found that the Evolution G2 100 with the omni-directional ME2 microphone is a MUST.The system is easy to use, has great sound pickup and quality with very little or no static noise...even when the wires are moving around! I was surprised at how well the ME2 captured voices from all directions...when they say omni-directional, they mean it. The vows, which most people in the audience never hear, come through strong and clear with this mic on the minister. If you are a videographer looking for a portable camera mounted system, you can't go wrong with this system.
Problems Encountered: No problems yet. Just make sure when you take it out of the box the first time that you adjust the gain to the desired level. When mine came out of the box the gain was all the way up, at first I thought it was broken, but once I turned the gain down everything sounded great.
Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Audio Technica Wireless System
Items I Recommend: Wire wind screen. Will cut out almost all wind noise.
