The FlashFlip PF (PlatForm) features the same design as the FlashFlip, but also sports an ultra-steady platform base that allows the user to stand the entire assembly (camera, flash and bracket) up for easier access and more stability. In addition, the base also has more surface area that makes it ideal for larger cameras like medium format or digital SLR cameras.
The design of this bracket keeps the flash high and directly over the camera lens in both horizontal and vertical positions. This eliminates red-eye and unwanted side shadows. By having the flash high above the lens, shadows are cast behind the subject and are therefore not seen in the photograph.
The FlashFlip PF works with most SLR or medium format cameras and shoe-type flashes. Supplied with locking shoe and 1/4-20 flash mounts. All metal construction. Made in USA.
