This baseplate is the correct fit for the Ace series fluid head tripods. Works as expected, but finding the price to be inflated.

I have this plate, which came with my Ace XL fluid head but I need a plate that will work with the Ace XL without the pin. Does such a plate exist for my Ace EL head? Please point me to such a plate ASAP! Thank you.

hi, take the screw out. Then you can remove the plate which includes the pin from the Ace plate - and use screw only

Is this plate compatible with arca swiss or really right stuff quick release clamps?

This plate has a Manfrotto-style two-pin plate (both pins are set a fixed distance apart). You can directly attach a camera or other item that has the Manfrotto-style dual holes. It's not Arca-compatible as-is, though if you replace the pin plate with two separate screws, you could attach the plate to an Arca (or some other type of) plate.

Yes, the Sachtler Sideload Plate S/Ace Tripod QR Plate has 1/4"-20 threads, so it will fit the Hasselblad X2d.
