Arca-Swiss Quick Release Adapter with Flip-lock - Short (60mm) with 1/4" Thread (Requires Plate)
The Arca-Swiss Flip-lock quick release adapter offers double safety locking features, with instant flip-lock release of the clamp. The adapter is designed so that the camera plate can travel horizontally, allowing for calibration of the center of gravity.
Arca quick release adapters are designed for tripods and heads that come without the quick release feature of mounting and unmounting cameras in a hurry. They fit all tripods and heads, and are the industry standard. This means that several other companies plates (all copied from the Arca design) such as Acratech, Foba, NPC, Novoflex & Wimberley fit into this clamp. Because it is an open-channeled clamp, you can have customized quick release plates for individual applications.
Fits onto tripods with 1/4"-20 screw. NOTE: Requires camera mounting plate.

This is the best release thar I've used to date,and I've been doing this for forty years. The camera is very stasble and easily removed. The camera is held very tightly and does not slip.

Very staple and secure low profile adapter, make sure your Arca-type plate works with it, the silver wheel in the middle is an adjustment wheel and therefore it will fit almost all brands of plates with adjustment. [...] Just be careful if you loosen it all the way it is spring loaded, therefore watch out that it will spring apart on you, it did several times with me but I was observant and didn't lose any parts and very glad I made this purchase just be careful adjusting the at adapter wider with the wheel, follow the instructions. You only have to adjust it once and the handle release with the silver pin safety is excellent. The unit is very low profile and light.
