Henry Engineering PB Overview

From Henry Engineering, the Patch Box II Analog Stereo Output Multiplier and Signal Converter is a handy utility audio device designed to expand the stereo outputs found on audio mixers, recording devices, etc. The Patch Box II features balanced, stereo paired 1/4" TRS phone inputs. The outputs feature 2 stereo paired XLR and 4 stereo paired 1/4" TRS balanced connectors.

In addition to the balanced outputs, 6 stereo paired RCA phono connectors provide a suitable solution for consumer audio recorders and input devices. In all, the unit provides a total of 12 stereo outputs that can be simultaneously used to send output signal to various devices without signal degradation and noise. The Patch Box II is the answer for engineers without sufficient stereo balanced or unbalanced mixer outputs.

Henry Engineering PB Reviews

I didn't receive what was pictured

When I ordered this, the photos showed mounting holes on the back of the unit which is critical to my application. The item that arrived had no mounting holes which would force me to use a heavy duty 2 sided tape due to the weight of the unit and the pull of the cables that will damage my wall. Next, the entire company went on holiday for 10 days so there was no one I could call and talk to. While the box works so far as described, not being able to mount it is a serious issue. I am very disappointed with this purchase as well as the lack of customer service

Extremely useful device

This little box is a life saver. Need another balanced output without having to crawl around the back to repatch? Easy. Need to interface with some consumer gear? No problem. Yes, there are products that can do this, but MULTIPLES AT A TIME? And without noticeable signal degradation? Get this unit and thank yourself over and over again.

I have a Allen & Heath Zed 24 mixer. Where do I get the outputs to go into this patch box that are R&L on mixer?
Asked by: Paul
Next to the Main Left and Right outputs on the Zed 24, there are secondary outputs that you can use to connect the Left & Right signals to the Henry Engineering Patch Box II.

This unit offers quarter inch balanced inputs. Is there a unit which offers XLR inputs? Output options are great. Input options are lacking.
Asked by: Christian
There does not appear to be a unit similar to the Henry Engineering Patch Box II Analog Stereo Output Multiplier and Signal Converter with XLR inputs, however our selection of "press box" items features similar functionality with mostly XLR connectivity: https://bhpho.to/3DwDvLw
