The Reflecmedia Ultimatte DV Chroma Key is a hardware based solution for Chroma Key applications. This keyer was designed to work with the DV video market utilizing Y/C, Composite and DV signals for foreground and background composited outputs.
Preview
This device can be used on a live shoot as a pre-visual tool; the user is able to view how the final composite may appear on one monitor instead of only seeing the camera feed or background separately.
Internal Test Signals
The internal test signal allows the user to ensure the highest quality output is maintained.
Internal Framestore
An internal framestore allows non synchronous signals to be combined and can store a background in memory.
Signal Conversion
The Ultimatte DV will also function as a transcoder allowing the user to convert between video signal formats.
