I purchased the Grey card for use in my photography diploma for general use. As usual the item was delivered on time by UPS. My wife and I have commented on the efficient service and the tracking service provided by B&H in the past. They didn't let me down. I ordered three smaller cards on a lanyard from a retail outlet in Sydney which is my home time thinking they would arrive within two days. The retailer didn't have what I ordered and what he sent me was damaged. I am requesting a refund. Will order the DGK set for in the field from B&H shortly.

The grey/white card ensures my white balance is set just right at the time of taking the photos. All I have to do is manually set my cameras white balance after a test shot and presto.The colors are correct right off the bat and saves me post production time. Very simple. Good packaging too with the zipper cover. Recommend it :)

Easy to open and close. I'm not sure about the white balance yet, it seems kinda yellow to me. Still need to test it out. But I like the size and the gray card is gray.

I use every time I turn my camera on. Light sources change from one moment to the next you should adjust your white balance just as often. Your camera is only programmed to guess at colors. The human eye is able to distinguish the difference between white and off white, then think about how much you spent on your camera; still or video, don't you want to get good colors?! If you bought a nice camera thinking it's going to just magically produce accurate colors you'll soon learn it's not the cameras fault. This thing is great once you use it you will understand why ALL the pros use it.

I used this recently on a shoot as the light changed. Cut my post production dramatically! Used it for both white balance and exposure. So easy, folds down quickly, even used it as a magic trick to entertain the kids while waiting!

This card is large enough to give easy measuring, and folds into a tight circle. The flip side is white, just in case you need a reflector. The results provide for great color, and it folds small enough to fit into my camera case.

I use ths grey card mostly when I do interior pictures for work. It's a bit larger than I expected & think I need, however, it collapes & fits in a great handy case with carring strap. I love it.

Purchased on the spot after watching Lastolite's demo reel of it. It's exactly what you think it is: a big, portable, foldable gray card that you hand to your model or place in front of your subject, to give you an accurate reading for setting your white balance. Because it's also 18% gray, it can be used as a highly reliable center point for exposure value, so you're not at the mercy of your camera's built-in exposure metering schema.

Pros of using this system are size -- you don't have to be a foot away from your dinky cardboard gray card to get a reading or redo a reading; dual-duty construction -- the rear is a highly reflective white reflector; and Lastolite quality -- no I'm not on the dole... it's just really nice equipment and once you get a couple items of theirs, you'll see.

Drawbacks of course are the lack of spontaneity, more stuff in your bag, etc., but these are pretty negligible compared to the benefits of getting spot-on color every time, and having a reliable "zero" point for your exposure from which you can creatively vary.

So far this has been a very useful tool. I can't imagine going back to shooting without it. My colors are more true than ever before and makes going from original photo to finished product much faster. I am absolutely happy with this product.

After struggling with other brands of cards thinking that the grey side was a true medium grey I was turned on to this little baby.

The grey side is a true middle (18%) grey and the white side it white.

The focus target makes it easy to use

I use this 18% grey card for white balance and reflective exposure reading. I find it easy to use and pretty accurate. Does exactly what I needed it to do,excellent for studio and portrait use. Simple device, Lightweights ,folds up easily.

It is a white balance card that is easy to use. Lastolite also provides videos to instruct how to use the balance card should one need instruction.

Good price - mine came with a bag and seems pretty indestructible. Plan on having use of it for a long time which is great!
