Considering its plastic constuction the price is too hi. It lasted less than 1 month before breaking by using a shotgun mic. By only if you plan to use light accessories. Not for pro usage.

Overall, I like this product but I think the [$] asking price is a bit over the top considering it's plastic construction. It's a strong plastic but I don't think it will hold up as well as metal in the field. There is about 1 1/4" inches of clearance between the shoes which leaves a perfect amount of room to mount both my Frezzi Minifill and senn wireless RX.
