This is a nice little case that is well made and has a decent amount of padding. It is the perfect size for a bunch of different gear. I will often put the Manfrotto video monopod with 701 head in here or the Kessler Pocket Dolly.

Bought this bag for my Manfrotto 055CXPRO3 with Manfrotto 498 Ball Head attached. Length turned out perfect. The bag is a little wider than needed, but nothing to complain about. Well padded w/o being overly bulky. Sturdy materials throughout with well-made hand grip and adjustable shoulder strap.

Comments about Giottos AA11254 Padded Tripod Case:
I bought this along with a Gitzo tripod and Arca Swiss ballhead, this case will protect my investment during everyday transportation, would not recommend it for checked air line luggage, not rugged enough, but for day to day no problem. The case has nice big handles that fit nicely over your shoulder for hands free carry, also comes with a sling. It is well constructed, well finished and OK padding. interior zip pocket also comes with is useful for small accessories.
Would like to see more padding in the ends.

This bag stays in the trunk of my car & holds a tripod with RRS ball head attached, and a monopod with ball head attached. The padded feature keeps my stuff protected.

Comments about Giottos AA11254 Padded Tripod Case:
I bought this for my Giottos MT9160 with MH-5001 tripod set, since the case the came with the tripod was ripping at the seams. That one had no padding whatsoever, so I was surprised it last as long as it did. I decided to get a better case and I sure was surprised by this one, it is very well built and designed, has just the right amount of padding, and a pocket inside to hold whatever needs to go in there. It also has a shoulder strap, which I use the most and wish I had with the other. It's nice and stylish, as far as tripod cases go, and definitely a new addition to my gear.

This case does the job. It protects the tripod from getting banged around.
I would have preferred a shorter case for my tripod but they do not make one to accommodate my tripod size.

Comments about Giottos AA11254 Padded Tripod Case:
I use the case to carry 3 tripods: 28 inch, 8 pound commercial, 19 inch, 2.8 pound consumer with a remote camcorder control handle in its own nylon bag, and a small telescopic tripod that collapses to 14 inches, about 1/2 pound.
The circular end and oblong end and slight taper to the bag help contents stay in place and not shift when carried.
The case is easy to manage with the grip handles, or using the shoulder strap.
Material quality is high grade and workmanship excellent. Seams are tight and rugged. The inside, flat, zipper pocket (about 10 X 4 1/2 inches) is handy for storage of small items.
Padding is good (not heavy and stiff) and allows the bag to stand open empty or full.
2 large zippers, one from each end, are easily grasped and pulled. Had to put a flat, bright leather pull on the inside pocket zipper - its small and the all black interior makes finding it hard.

Comments about Giottos AA11254 Padded Tripod Case:
Tripod fits in easily with the zipper going around the corner. We plan to have it in the back seat of the truck along with other gear and this will protect our new scope tripod nicely. The shoulder strap is almost redundant and we may never use it as the two handles are quite long and go over the shoulder easily. We wanted something sort of nondescript, that didn't look like a gun case, to invite intruders into our vehicle and this fills the bill nicely.
