The Litepanels DV Camera Kit contains an on camera infrared dimmer light with gels, mounting and Canon DV Adapter; it uses an LED for light and draws a small amount of current for 25 Watts of illumination.
Note:
This light was specifically designed to be used with cameras using Infrared technology and will not illuminate for normal lighting applications
LED Illumination
The use of an LED for illumination allows infrared light without filters or ballasts and doesn't burn out like regular lamps.
Dimmer
This light dims from 0% to 100% of its capability without color shift.
Efficient
The LED lamp outputs 25 Watts of illumination while requiring only 7 Watts of power.

A camera shoe mount comes with this package.
