Comments about Behringer XENYX 1002 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
If you are working with clean audio signals that don't require much handling then the specs on this mixer hold up. If starting with a noisy signal then I have found that more expensive Mackie mixers do a better job. We use these Behringer mixers to monitor audio from various sources and overall they do a pretty good job.

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1002 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
The Xenyx 1002 Mixer was the perfect choice for use in recording a chamber music performance with just two microphones. The mixer is very low noise and yielded a high quality recording.

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1002 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
We are using the xenyx 1002 in a backup studio which also serves as a production room. Does 90 percent of the things our big board does, with sound quality more than adequate for rock FM radio.

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1002 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
Purchased primarily for its 'Tape In to Control Room' monitoring function to use with an Olympus LS-10. Exceptional recordings using professional mics with or w/o phantom can be verified and compared Live in the field.
Its compact & lightweight form factor also comes in handy when you need to add a few inputs, control a sub-mix or create a mix/minus on short notice.
A small piece of masking or console tape will subdue the Power LED.

Comments about Behringer XENYX 1002 - 10 Channel Audio Mixer:
I've been leary of Behringer but have slowly become more comfortable with some of their products. This mixer has 2 mic pre-amps and several other inputs. I use it in my business, running mics for wedding video and even live sound. It has performed dependably and the FX on the 1002FX are pretty good. I'm satisfied with it and would recommend it as a good small format mixer. I've found no noise nor hum when using it. The only con is that it does not have an on/off switch. Just plug and unplug it. But then again, I don't leave anything plugged in that has a power converter.
