The Sennheiser ME66 capsule is a popular short shotgun microphone for use with the K6 or K6P power supplies. The modular design of K6-series microphones provide the freedom to adapt compatible capsules when necessary. The Sennheiser K6 is a microphone handgrip and power supply capable of battery, or phantom powering all microphone capsules in the "K6" series. One "AA" battery supplies power for approximately 150 hours or phantom power (12-48 volts). The power supply has an integrated bass roll-off switch and an on/off switch with an LED indicator for battery condition.
