Not really impressed by these headphones, I needed something to replace the pair of MDR-V150's that the earpiece padding had disintigrated on but the 150's had just been discontinued so I decided to try these. I guess they're OK and better than earbuds but I'm not impressed with the sound quality like I was with the 150's. They seem really cheap and breakable by comparison.

I've tried 'em all and these are the most satisfying headphones that you can listen to for hours without ear fatigue. Very deep bass and well balanced sound. On ear design does not overheat ears and closed back does not disturb sleeping wife while I'm listening in bed. Amazing spacial sound and highly musical. These are unusually good. Mark Fannon

Great (mid-size) headphones for portable devices!
In my opinion it´s necessary to use the EQ to reduce the mid frequencies output a little bit to get the best sound quality (between 500 HZ - 2 Khz)but the sound is great. This headphones are like "mini mdr-7506" Thanks B&H You're the best.

Balanced lows, mids, highs. Comfortable, not too tight on head. Collapses and packs away with ease. VERY PLEASED!
Only drawback: cord could be a little longer. Purchased a 6 ft. extension for my needs.

Sound quality of these headphones is the best of all others I've tried in this price range and quite a few that are higher priced. Very good bass and gives an exceptional depth of sound and volume. This is the third pair I've owned, because the other two "walked off" with other audiophiles. The only con is that the cord can get quite tangled due to the "folding" feature, but that's just a minor detail considering the great sound.

Lightweight with great sound, a nice alternative to "in-your-ear" plugs. The compact carrying case fits great into your gym back and keeps the ear phones well protected, and they are snug enough that they stay on your head while working out.
I gave my first pair to a friend after using them for 6 months. I missed them so bad, I bought a 2nd pair.

My ears just don't work with iPod style earbuds so I was searching for an alternative solution that I could easily toss in my briefcase. Viola! These headphones fit the bill perfectly. The hard case that comes with the headphones is an important part of the mix as the headphones are well protected bouncing around inside my bag. I am no audiophile but the sound quality is perfectly acceptable for my "on the go" use.
