A unidade aceita o conector XLR fêmea e macho apropriado.

We use this attenuator between our sound board and monitor speaker, as the levels from the board are considerably higher than needed. The attenuator allows us to have the monitor send level at a more reasonable point and avoid feedback if someone bumps the level too high.
In the long run we will use fixed attenuators in this role, as they are less prone to error. The variable nature of this attenuator is ideal for determining the optimal attenuation to use, but a fixed unit the avoids accidental change.
So we recommend this item as a good tool bag item for fixing situations on the fly, but recommend fixed-level attenuators for use in systems that are used on a regular basis.

Works well but a little flimsy
The ATT-448 works well but is somewhat cheap in its construction. So far so good but I'm worried the first time I drop it I'll break it.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
The combination of condenser mic and pre-amp going from low-Z to high-Z created a signal that was unmanageably hot. The B&H representative suggested the in-line attenuator which turned out to be the perfect solution for my problem. Hosa Tech ATT-448 now provides me with a workable, flexible signal at a low price.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
Retains phantom power, great in an inline unit. The switchable pad is great for me because I record cars at the track, where cars are of widely varying volumes. Only thing I didn't like was the male end does not fit into the female xlr jacks on Zoom H4n's, as the casing is a bit too thick.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
Convert a hot input or a line input to a more useable mic level input. The variable padfs -20, -30 and -40 offer great flexibuility without having to purchase multiple attenuaters. A bit flimsy in construction so handle with care and tape down your pad selector, but so inexpensive and very convenient.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
This was purchased for a church video feed project. We take the main house audio from 4 buses and run it into a dedicated video sound board, but that board doesn't have pads. We purchased these attenuators because the main buses come in super hot, and these worked great. No complaints. Nice to have the flexible options - I wasn't sure how far we'd have to attenuate, and -20 wasn't quite enough in our case. Great problem-solver for us!

I use this on my camera when aquiring audio from a P.A. system. Many times the audio level is too hot and results in distorted audio at my camera. With this in the line, a proper undistorted audio level is always recorded and adjustments can be instantly made at the touch of the selector switch as needed.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
I patch in my Alesis mixer to many different sound systems on the road. Many have microphone inputs with no adjustable gain or input pads. My mixer output distorts these inputs, so I needed a pad. The Hosa was the only one in stock, so I bought it. It does the job, but the switch that varies the level of pad is very cheap and moves too easily. I will have to tape it down so it is not switched accidentally during a show. That is why I give it 3 stars, for the cheapness of construction. But so far it has done an acceptable job.

Comments about Hosa Technology ATT-448 In-Line Attenuator:
A switchable inline attenuator is just the thing to keep audio signals that are above mic level but less than line level from overdriving record electronics. I found this item quite helpful and versatile. It's also very affordable.
