The Astro Systems DM-3008 is a high quality 8.4" TFT LCD specifically designed to be used for field monitoring and studio applications. The monitor provides many extra features which are not found on competing panels. The display has heads up displays for information such as audio channels, time code, peaking, and markers. This gives the camera operator quick reference settings without interfering with the frame, due to superimposition. Virtually all HD format signals are supported through the HD-SDI input and the LCD can be powered with industry standard canon connector batteries.
Integrated HUD
Astro Vision's uniquely designed integrated heads up display (HUD) shows important information without interfering with the image. When framing is critically important, information superimposed on top of an image can be distracting, often leading to poorly composed shots. With these monitors, the operator can breathe easy knowing that they'll always see the complete picture with no hindrance.
Well Designed Controls
Front switches make the monitor very easy to control, even when handheld. Controls include adjustments for brightness, contrast, and chroma. Adjustments couldn't be easier!
High Viewable Angle
A 170° vertical and horizontal viewing angle ensures that you can continue to view the LCD no matter where you are. This can be useful during productions where space is limited.
