The TFT8-S 8" TFT On-Camera Studio Teleprompter from Autoscript is an exceptionally versatile teleprompter unit that is ideal for location shooting, hand-held shots, Steadicams, and small jibs. The 12v DC power supply can either be obtained from the camera or from a separate mains power unit. The prompter mounts horizontally in front of the camera and a glass screen mounted at a 45° angle above the prompter reflects the text, allowing the announcer to read while looking directly into the camera.
This prompter comes standard with a folding hood for easy transportation, which has been specially designed to remain out of shot on a 4.8 mm lens in 4:3 (standard) or 4.5 mm lens in 16:9 (wide screen). This is a studio unit and comes standard with a fully adjustable MT/Blue sliding mounting plate.
