VariZoom S-2000 Dimmable On Camera Light
The Varizoom S-2000 on camera light combines 4 advanced LEDs with professional optic technology design. The S-2000 offers the equivalent of a 40 watt output at 5600k color temperature with a low power consumption of only 12 watts with low heat radiation. The S-2000 can last in excess of 100,000 hours and requires no spare filament bulbs.

Got this for documentary shooting and ENG, so convenient and lasts forever. Clean white-balanced light (and the 2700k door is fantastic), definitely good bang for the buck and a ton of light when you need it immediately. Good fill, runs off my ABs for over 5-10 hour shoots without making a dent and dimmer is a MUST.

Clip this little light to your camera to get nice highlights of your subject and eliminate shadows in the eye sockets. I noticed that when I use the built-in gold diffuser, it gives a nice warming effect to the skin. The light also works great where you are using existing lights indoor. On my JVC GY-HD101E just having this little light elimiated the low-light noise typical of such shooting conditions.
