Impact Two Monolight Umbrella Softbox Kit (120VAC)
The Impact VSD160 is a good unit for occasional use by a hobbyist, or beginning professional. It is a good choice for building a system - its built-in optical slave fires the flash without wires, from the light of any other flash system. Its flashtube is good for tens of thousands of pops, and is replaceable.
This two monolight kit includes air cushioned light stands that rise to a maximum of 10 feet, one- 24 x 32" softbox, one- white umbrella, and sync cord (Mini plug to PC).

This is my first kit. I have had it for a year and it has been good to me. If you are getting your first kit then get it. The only problem that I have with it is that the modeling light it too dim to use during the day time. The flash head works fine but it is a guessing game. You can't see what the light is doing. You need to either shoot at night or block out all sunlight from the room. I mean all sunlight, even the slightest bit on an overcast day is still brighter than the modeling light.
I recommend this kit to beginners. It is a great kit for the price.
