The Rode Dead Kitten Artificial Fur Wind Shield is designed for use with the Rode Stereo VideoMic, Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro, Rode WS4 and Rode NT4 microphone. It's specially designed with artificial fur that minimizes wind noise, while also remaining acoustically transparent. The Dead Kitten is actually the exact wind shield included with the Stereo VideoMic and it's designed to suppress noise caused by high-wind while outdoors.

I have a Zoom H4N, and fits just perfect, i´ve tried it with really heavy wind outdoors next to a dock. . . you can perfectly listen water, birds flying and still have a sence that air is passing by. Fits my needs for documentary filming outdoors, remote locations.

I use this on my Rode VideoMic when shooting outdoors on windy days. Very easy to use, simply slip-on/slip-off, not to mention that it looks kind of cool too. The construction is exceptional, very well made. This will possibly be the last windscreen you will ever buy.
