The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S700 Digital Camera is a sleek and compact camera with 7.1 megapixels of resolution. It also has a 3x optical zoom lens, high ISO 1000 sensitivity for low-light shooting and Stamina battery power for up to 100 shots using standard alkaline batteries.

The bright 2.4" LCD screen makes it easy to frame your shots and view your images. It has 24MB of internal memory so that you can shoot pictures and video clips with your camera right away. You can also purchase an optional Memory Stick Duo media card in capacities up to 4GB to expand your shooting capability. The DSC-S700 is also very easy to use with convenient scene modes and fully automated shooting features.

• 7.2 Megapixel Super HAD CCD: The advanced Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD of the DSC-S700 allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing image noise.

• 3x Optical Zoom Lens: The 3x zoom helps bring distant subjects closer and lets you frame shots quickly for better composition

• High Sensitivity: The camera provides high sensitivity of ISO1000 to permit taking shots in low light or you can shoot without flash to preserve the mood

• Convenient Photo Modes: The DSC-S700 includes several convenient photo modes to choose from including Auto, Program Auto, and Scene Selections for Twilight, Portrait, Landscape, and other shooting environments. The camera also includes creative color modes (Natural, Rich, Monochrome, Sepia) and burst capability for action photos

• QVGA Movie Mode: The DSC-S700 can capture Video Clips with sound at a resolution of 320x240 (QVGA) with a high frame rate of 30 fps to provide smooth motion.

• Internal and Expandable Memory: The DSC-S700 includes 24MB of built-in memory, so you can start shooting right away. The camera also has a slot for optional Memory Stick Duo media with which you can expand the camera memory to over 4GB and store hundreds of high resolution images.

• Bright 2.4" LCD Screen: The DSC-S700 has a bright 2.4" color LCD screen for composing shots, checking results, or sharing your photos, and the screen is bright enough to be easily visible - even in full sunlight.

• Stamina Battery Power: The camera can capture up to 100 shots with standard AA alkaline batteries, and can capture up to 460 shots with optional NiMH rechargeable batteries.

• Cyber-shot Viewer Software: The included Sony Cyber-shot Viewer software makes it easy to upload images from your camera, then organize and browse through photos on your PC screen by simply scrolling through thumbnail images.
