This product worked well AFTER I did a wet cleaning of the sensor. There was too much lubrication around the sensor from the factory that became spots on the sensor with a dry cleaning and this brush. After a wet cleaning, this brush has been great.

My sensor and viewfinder were both pretty dirty. Using this plus a rocket blower removed all the spots from my images. Fast and easy to use.

Pricey, but did a great job removing several years of accumulated dust from the sensor of my Canon 5D. Regular use after multiple lens changes should help maintain image quality. Greatly reduces post processing time spent eliminating dust spots. I think the cost is well worth it in the long run for active photographers. Less desirable for casual photographers who shoot infrequently.

I really like this tool. I needed something I could take in the field and clean my sensor with that was light and compact. This product does exactly what it says it will do. Takes care of my problems and saves me money.

Best solutions to clean your sensor. But you'll need to apply it several time, and may be finish the cleaning with a vaccum.

This is a solid product and does just what I expected it to (removes dust). I definitely recommend using the Sensor Loupe along with it as spotting any remaining dust or knowing where to focus your swipes of the brush is tricky.

The only reason I gave it a 4 is that I feel it's still a bit overpriced.

The Artic Butterfly SL 700 is a great tool. Small enough to travel easily with you and powerful enough to get the job done.

I went on vacation and was careless when switching lenses, got a lot of dust of my sensor. I purchased this and was able to remove all dust from the sensor. This tool really has been handy several times.

Please be careful however and read the directions as you could cause serious damage to the sensor.

Easy to use.
Sweep across sensor, run machine to spin off the dust(away from sensor).
shut it off & repeat

Only one downfall-price, could be a little cheaper I feel.

I had returned from a trip to a beach and had lots of trouble with dust and sand getting into the camera and on the sensor. This did a good job removing the dust. If you have a camera that doesn't have a dust remover built in, the Arctic Butterfly is a must.

Bought this recently while on a trip to East Coast and have been very happy with it so far. Dust clings to the bristles and I've seen a dramatic decrease in blemishes on my images. I haven't compared it to other forms of sensor cleaning but I'm very satisfied and would recommend it.

I've always been terrified of cleaning my own sensor and suffered for it in post production. I read reviews about the Arctic Butterfly and decided to try it myself. It is so easy to use and it worked wonders on my first try. This is my new best friend and will save so much time removing dust in post production.

I saw the SL-700 being demonstrated at a B&H Photo booth outside a seminar I attended about a month ago. I seemed like just the tool I needed to clean dust particles from the sensor & viewfinder inside my DSLR. As soon as it arrived, I tried it out, and it worked perfectly. It uses no fluids, so there are no worries about damaging your image sensor. It's easy to use and works great for removing light dust.

Had some spots on Minolta 7D and Sony A100. Tried blower, but they were stubborn. I cleaned both cameras in about 1/2 hour with with SL-700 brush. Took a couple of passes, but sensor was completely cleared. I would recommend purchasing brush and sensor loupe in kit. Sensor loupe helps ALOT! Brush fits sensor on Minolta 7D and A100 perfectly.

I used this product the day I got it! First I tried to blow away the dust, but some particles were left on a low-pass sensor filter, so I opened a camera and used this brush, and after the second time, there was no dust on my sensor. Works great with dry dust, for wet particles it's not so great(though dry dust is really its purpose). The only thing that I would critisize is that it comes without an AAA battery, so you gotta have one of your own.
