Comments about Phoenix DRLLED Large Digital LED Ring Light:
After very light use, my unit started smoking. It was out of warranty, and the manufacturer refused to offer even a pro-rated replacement.

Comments about Phoenix DRLLED Large Digital LED Ring Light:
Ring light illuminates well but does have a couple of minor issues, one of which is not uncommon in ring lights.
The biggest and not so common one is the color the light shows up in the print. To offset this, one must custom white balance with the ring light on prior to shooting. Otherwise the light shows up as a weird green color.
The second is if you are shooting extreme close-ups it casts a shadow down the center where the lens comes through. This is common to ring lights and was expected.
It works fantastically though once those two are considered. Moving back from the subject can get nice lighting and coupled with a single flash from any direction produces an excellent, shadow-free image. Eliminates the need for two flashes in macro if used properly.
I use a balancer I carry with me all the time to set white balance prior to using and once that is done, the photos are spot on.
