The Novoflex BALL 40 Ball & Socket Head offers a finely machined and extremely firm ballhead. It features a 1/4"-20 camera screw, and is ideal for even full-size pro SLR cameras. It can also be used in combination with the many innovative Novoflex accessories that feature a 1/4"-20 male screw.

Comments about Novoflex BALL 40 Ballhead:
High quality, great value no frills ballhead. Very stable with negligible creep when camera is tilted, even with heavy equipment like Pentax 67 with 200mm lens (look at the excellent tripod tests at t up,[@]. This ballhead only has the essentials. It is well made, quick and simple in sew weight, fine adjustment works well. Some people may dislike the complete lack of tension when the single locking lever is released, while it's a non issue for others. The lever is made of plastic and could possibly break with heavy use, although it appears strong enough. Works great with the round Miniconnect QR plate.
