Purchased the TV for use with video game systems that broadcast in HD. Great color and contrast for the money!
Super easy set up, Stand is attached and no assembly is required. Just take it out of the box, plug it in, play a little bit with the color options and watch to your heart's content.
Set up in seconds with Charter Cable Communications digital cable box. Charter remote controlled TV right out of the box and required no calibration.
Xross Media Bar from Sony allows for extremely straightforward customization of brightness and changing from TV to Composite or HDMI inputs.
Viewing angle is great! can be seen from everywhere in my living room with ease.
only Con is that an Memory Stick slot is not included for easy picture viewing as it was on the older models from Sony.

Excellent picture and a breeze to set up. I'm using it in my workshop to watch sports. The high def is superb with flawless reception with Directv. I was also looking at the 32" Sharp which was [$] cheaper, but when I decided to part with my money, I went with the best, Sony.

I did some intense internet shopping and relied heavily on consumer reviews of this model, as well as some independent consumer surveys that spoke very highly of the KDL-32S3000. They were on the money.I was wary of buying over the internet, but past experience with B&H (photo equipment) and the strong feedback they have received from other television purchasers reassured me that this would be the way to go (this model wasn't even available in my local market). [...]Setup was very easy. [...] I recommend the set as well as B&H as the source.

Comments about Sony KDL-32S3000 32" 16:9 BRAVIA LCD S-Series TV (Black):
We ordered the TV on Sunday evening and it arrived on the following Wednesday. The setup went smoothly. the picture is terrific and the tv is easy to use. We connect through our local cable company. Unfortunately the CC doesn't work due to connecting through the cable DVR - the sound is fine but I find the CC helpful for some shows. I am well pleased with the service, price and performance.

This is my first digital TV purchase, after a ton of research and many visits to dealers. It has been everything I wanted and more, and would reccommend it as a first class product.

Comments about Sony KDL-32S3000 32" 16:9 BRAVIA LCD S-Series TV (Black):
We got this for an aging relative who was moving into a retirement care home. She didn't want a bigger size (decor limitations), and just wanted to use the standard cable feed that currently offers limited HDTV channels. She has been really enjoying the set's performance on the SD channels she's used to watching. I enjoy taking a Blu-Ray player over and watching a movie with her now and then in 720p. It's a revelation to her just how great a picture her new set is capable of producing! She also uses the TV's speakers for sound, and they do a very good job (she doesn't want to learn how to cope with a separate receiver for surround sound). Realistically, this set is far more capable than her immediate needs, but works superbly and offers room for growth. Highly recommended if one is limited to this size display (bigger is even better).
