The Anton Bauer QR-XLH is a Gold Mount Adapter plate secured to a mounting bracket. It designed to attach to the Canon XL-H1 camera to let it use 14.4V Gold Mount batteries. A built-in converter automatically brings down the 14.4V to 7.2V. The adapter also features a P-Tap output, which gets the full 14.4V from the battery.
The adapter connects to the camera via a dummy battery provided on an integrated cable. The camera's Adapter Holder must first be installed on the camera before attaching the QR-XLH.
The QR-XLH can also be attached to the Canon XL1 and XL2 cameras if you first install the optional MA-100 or MA-200 Mic Adapter/Shoulder Pad accessory, respectively, to the camera.
