Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
I have used this in a large room (50 people) with full lighting. On the low setting it was more than adequate. Good color and adjustment is easy.
If you want to use the included controller for a computer, you need another cord. Would have been nice to include this in the box.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
My organization purchases these units for use in remote areas of the world for sharing educational videos with indigenous peoples. Usually that means packing the units in along with a generator, speaker, etc. The size, weight, and ease of set-up and use by people otherwise unfamiliar with technology makes this a super unit. It's great for presentations also, and is recommended generally since it can't be beat for the price.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
Great projector for mobile users! As a teacher, lightweight items are a must. This projector makes portability better without compromising quality. Almost went with a nano projector for size and weight, however, picture quality would not come close to the CPX5. Im glad I got this one!
The only con would be the heat generated from a smaller unit.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
I purchased this to for my church, many people have used it with little trouble, some with little computer skill. You just plug it in and it works, it automaticly recognizes the input very quikly. The USB plug is also very handyfor showing pictures without a computer. Also the built in speaker is good for any small group and the picture can be seen clearly even in a well light room. I was very pleased with this product and would recomend this to anyone purchasing a new projector. I have used many much more expensive projectors that were not as easy to use and didn't have as high quality picture.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
Very clear and bright picture and very intuitive to use. Extremely light and portable.
Bad Points
Lens is very wide angle which means a large image is produced from a short distance. This can be useful in a small venue but I think this could make this projector unsuitable for large venues where it may be fixed in position. This is not clear in the product information which I think it should be. Come to that lens angle not a feature clear with many projectors' information/data.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
I own two of these: one for my home office and travel, and one for my garage as a media projector for sports, movies, and for kid sleep overs. Great menu options for picture adjustment; and connectivity to DVD, CPs, and A/V receivers is easy. You can change the bulb to 'whisper' mode for quieter operation.

Comments about Hitachi CPX5 LCD Multimedia Projector:
I use this projector for my home-based business. I make presentations and need to be highly mobile. This projector comes with 3 different power cords- one for Asia, one for Europe and one for the US. Talk about a global economy! I can go anywhere and do my work without a converter or adapter. I was up and running in about 10 minutes right out of the box.
I get double-duty from this projector: I also use it for watching movies, DVDs or sports in a big-screen environment. I love it for the visualizer when playing music at parties.
PROS: I love the USB port that I can plug my flash drive into and make a presentation without having to have my computer! There are 2 computer in ports and 3 other kinds of ports that making hooking it up very easy and versatile.
It is so lightweight and compact. It is perfect for traveling. It is a very bright image, and the focus is great! The adjustable legs are sturdy and built to last.
CONS: The fan is a bit loud and it does put off some heat. But I can't figure out how you can get away from that with a 2500 lumen bulb in it! The case that it comes with is nice enough for around town or carry on, but it won't stand up to very rough handing on its own. Not many other cons to mention. Hitachi designed and packaged this one well. You will enjoy this little projector!
