The Gary Fong Lightsphere II Inverted Dome Flash Diffusion Pro Combo System includes the C2 and P2 Lightsphere IIs with the standard inverted domes, plus the additional ChromeDome and AmberDomes.
The Lightsphere is a large, round, soft and flexible diffuser that slips over the front of compatible flash units. The inside of the Lightsphere is completely textured to make the light dispersion even more "soft" than it would be otherwise. And because of this design, it is possible to make the material more translucent, keeping the unit from losing a lot of light while actually increasing the diffusion and softness of light.
An opaque color has been added to the inside of the Cloud version, and this "frosted" version creates an even softer effect, which makes it ideal for close-ups, portraits, and event photography.

Comments about Gary Fong Lightsphere II Inverted Dome Flash Diffusion Pro Combo System (Incl. P2 & C2 + Accessories) - for Select Canon, Pentax & Quantaray Flash Units:
I have a part-time photography business that I do professional wedding/portrait photograpy. I often do location shoots or am in mixed lighting conditions. I have found that the lightsphere is great for these conditions and lighting challenges. It produced great results. I went with this system so that I could have all the options with the lightsphere II.
I really enjoy having all of the domes and both the clear and cloudy diffusers. Each works great in obtaining the white balance or effect that I want. I really like how easy the system is to use. Compared to bouncing a flash or using fill flash, this gives a lot softer lighting and makes it to just two positions on the flash. I'd highly recommend it to everyone.
There are just two things I don't like about the diffuser. One is it's size for carrying, but in essence that is also one of the reasons this diffuser works so great. The other is that over time it doesn't always stay on the flash that well, requiring you to use velcro or some other strap system to keep it on the flash.
Overall though, I give it 5 stars and recommend it to everyone that enjoys shooting photos.

Be aware that you need to make adjustments on the fly when using it. Shot a wedding recently using this product and got inconsistent results with all strobe settings set to ettl. Must set strobe to manual. The look from the shots are also a little flat. Offset strobe with small softbox on bracket gives more snap. Don't bother with all the accessory pieces, chrome dome is useless. The clear diffuser has blue color cast.

I love the lightsphere! I used the amber dome during a session on the beach at sunset and it created a very flattering light for my model. Also used it indoors and it produced a very soft light reducing the unwanted facial shadows in my portrait images. It would be an asset to any photographer trying to get the best out of any lighting situation.
