Sachtler 0443 FSB-6T Aluminum Tripod System
The Sachtler 0443 FSB-6T is an aluminum tripod system offering stable movements to deliver the best images possible. The FSB-6 system consists of the FSB-6T fluid head, 2-stage aluminum tripod, mid-level spreader and case. This version of the FSB-6T offers the Touch and Go camera plate.

- Frictionless leak-proof fluid damping with three levels of drag, for perfect pictures while panning, without jerks and vibrations. Identical across both horizontal and vertical planes, and allows complete disengagement of drag for fast panning.
- Touch and Go
- The FSB-6 head accepts a payload from 0 to 6 kg while using Sachtler's Touch & Go mechanism.
- Dynamic Counterbalancing System
- The dynamic counterbalancing system compensates for torques as the camera tilts, preventing the camera from inadvertently tipping, and ensuring that it is positioned securely at any tilt angle.
- Safe at any Temperature
- Operates without any frictions from -40°F to +140°F.

If you have a prosumer camcorder and are looking for the most bang for the buck in a professional fluid head tripod system you can't do better than this. If you are wondering if an extra grand is worth it when it comes to buying a tripod it is. Nothing seperates amateur productions from pro ones more than the jerky, shaky pans and tilts of a cheap tripod / head. The FSB6 has a great counterbalance system that allows me to load up my Sony V1U with as many accessories as I want and still balance it perfectly. The drag controls and balance make it silky smooth to pan and tilt with no "snap back" at the end of a pan.
