The Axis Communications AXIS 213CM connection module attaches to an AXIS 213 PTZ network camera, providing additional functionalities to the camera. It adds two-way audio, two alarm inputs, three relay outputs plus an analog video output.
Two-Way Audio
By connecting an optional speaker and microphone to this module's audio I/O ports, a user will be able to hear and speak with a person at the camera location over the network. This is an extremely useful feature in many applications including retail stores, factories and transportation facilities.
Alarm I/O Ports
Alarm I/O ports is a great security enhancing feature. It allows alarm alerts to be sent and received over the network using optional external sensor devices.
Analog Video Output
An analog video output provides an easy way for installation or service personnel to quickly check camera and lens settings using a handheld video monitor rather than having to refer to a PC screen.
