I used this battery to shoot with a Canon GL2 at an all-day soccer camp. It easily lasted over 3 hours (mostly using the viewfinder as opposed to the LCD screen).

The battery charges very quickly!

The only downside is that the battery life indicator on the GL2 doesn't properly show how much life is left in the battery. But as long as you are aware of how long you've been shooting, this is a minor inconvenience. For $40 less than Canon's battery, I'd say this is a great product.

I used this battery pack once at this time with a Canon XL2. I used it in the same conditions than other batteries i have and i notice that it lasts about 15 to 20% less of operation time. Batterys chemistry is Lithium-Ion 7.2v 5400mAh, the others i have are 7.4v 6000mAh. It shouldn´t be a problem, we should have extra batteries¡¡¡ I fits tight but not a problem¡¡¡ Good for the price¡¡¡

The battery is a solid replacement for the original. The run time has been more than satisfactory running over 4 hours on my xlh1s. The one issue that I have with it is it is a little sticky getting it in and out of the battery compartment.

One of my battery was out and I bought this as replacement. First I was little afraid because it's no name brand..but after using it really good ! and great price too!
