Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
First time buying ISO 50 Velvia. I like it alot better than the 100 and 100F. Colors look very vivid and smooth. Took a lot of sunset photos with a Yashica 124G TLR.

It's only films I have bought but as we can hardly find film in South Africa it is obviously very important to be able to buy from B&H.[...] The film is fresh and it is reasonable priced[...].Thank you, Regards,Koos van der Lende.Landscape photographer.

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
Superb resolution and very high color saturation- an easy first choice for landscape photography. The speed of 50 does present certain limitations, but as long as one stays within the parameters of the film, the results are superb.

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
Fuji Velvia 50 is the best color film ever made! If you want the absolute best color, best contrast, most detail and clarity this is the film to use. 50 speed film can be both a pro and con. I mostly shoot landscapes and other subjects on a tripod and the slow speed of the film is usually an advantage because it makes longer exposures easy in day light. But if you're fighting the wind of trying to shoot a moving subject the 50 speed film can be to slow, one other down side of velvia 50 is exposures longer than a few seconds require more and more additional time due to reciprocity failure, for twilight and night shots I simply switch to velvia 100, which is much better for very long exposures. I also shoot a high end digital camera and as good as the quality is I get better results with my medium format camera with fuji velvia. And when I scan the film with a $100 epson scanner I get 45 megapixel images with better color than my digital cameras.

Great color saturation with the low ISO with very little grain which makes it ideal for "Drum Scanning".

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
I've been using the Fujichrome Velvia for over 15 years and the only reason I haven't traded my medium format film system in is because of the beauty this film offers when shooting landscape. I do have a digital inexpensive camera for handheld shots but I personally believe that Velvia 50 still manages to shine over the digital. I can only praise this film, since I've been using it over the span of 15 years and never let me down.

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
If you want incredibly rich, succulent, saturated color Velvia 50 is the way to go. Its a pretty slow film, so I typically shoot it on a tripod for landscapes. If you're looking for something a bit faster, try Velvia 100. Give it a go!

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
Contrary to popular belief, Velvia is NOT a disaster for portrait photography! It does not 'do violence" to skin tones, although it is not the ideal film for that work. However, for anything involving colors, such as fall foliage, or other color work, Velvia's rich, saturated colors works wonders!! The fineness of the grain is unbeatable, too.

This has to be one of the most natural color 120 films
for the portrait shots,,,, bought them and really loved it.
Though its ISO 50 can be changeling from time to time , but
if you are seeking the finest grain the 50 will definitely be something
to consider.

Used Bronica GS-1 medium format camera for slide film. Excellent and vivid colors with Fuifilm velvia 50. People believing in digital age get stunned with the dynamic range, color depth and accuacy and vivid colors. Always use this film, have films for 35mm and large format waiting for the fall leaves.

Comments about Fujifilm RVP 120 Fujichrome Velvia 50 Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-50):
I use the film for landscape photography, as it produces brilliantly saturated colors, especially when used with a polariser filter. It has super fine grain, and can be used to produce huge prints at high resolution (close to 2m long at 300dpi). A downside to the film is that reciprocity failure kicks in after only 4 seconds of exposure, requiring exposure adjustments, and colour corrections (blue hue occurs). However, Adobe photoshop can be used to simply correct the colour casts.
