I bought the 8GB SDHC Card by SanDisk to increase capacity prior to a weeklong vacation. I didn't want to find myself miles away from the nearest town with a full memory card. Since card capacities vary depending on settings, I checked. On my Canon XSi, at 400 ISO, the camera says I have 4100 Small images available, 2600 Medium images, 1500 Large, 475 RAW, and 360 Large+RAW. Our vacation took us to a beach and the card kept up (as best I can tell since I wasn't carrying a stopwatch) with the burst rates Canon says the XSi is capable of as I shot multiple bursts of seagulls in flight. I shot numerous images of sunsets on L+RAW. Countless scenery, skylines, and snapshots on Small and Medium. Seven days, 1600 miles, and three cities after leaving home, the card still had 35% of its capacity remaining when I took it out of the camera to download the images. I bought the card to share duty with a 4GB Ultra II SDHC card, also by Sandisk, but the 8GB SDHC Card by SanDisk has quickly beome my primary memory card. I trust SanDisk and I am glad I bought this card.

I use this card for audio recording. In the past I had lost information because of the use of other SD cards that doesn`t had a strong brand/quality support. Since that day I prefer Sandisk, because if you storage the SD card in the proper way... it last a lot, and you can forget about data loses.

I bought this for my Nikon D3000. It's an 8GB SDHC, it holds 1200-ish large photos, those are all I shoot in. Read/Write is pretty fast. Lock button works. Its a simple product and it works for my current needs and at a great B&H price.

I own only Sandisk cards, being SDHC or CF. NEVER failed me. Cheap Lexar or other cards have always failed. If you want reliable cards, you have to choose Sandisk!!
