Acer Aspire 5630-6288 Overview

The Aspire 5600 Series 5630-6288 Notebook Computer from Acer is a great laptop for the mobile professional or student. The notebook will let you take your computing on the road, delivering powerful performance and giving you the ability to easily import digital media.

The Aspire comes with a software suite by Acer. Acer GridVista simplifies dual monitor work when connecting the laptop to an external display, eManager to configure system settings, and LaunchManager to create hotkeys for common tasks. You'll also find Adobe Reader and a 60-day subscription to Norton Internet Security installed on the computer.

The system is powered by a 1.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5500 CPU and boasts 2 GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, a SuperMulti DVD burner, 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi, four USB 2.0 ports, and a 15.4" Widescreen display powered by Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics. Windows Vista Home Premium
The computer comes preloaded with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system from Microsoft. Vista includes the slick Aero user interface, complete with the Windows Sidebar, gadget support, Flip3D navigation and more. The Home Premium edition of Vista includes the popular Windows Media Center application. Integrated Camera and Microphone
