This Equinox XChaser mechanical housing is for the Canon HV20 camcorder. The housing is designed for use in or near water. The housing is recommended for snorkeling, surfing, boating, shallow diving, and other situations where your camera could come into contact with water. The hand strap design keeps the housing very compact.
The housing is not intended for deep scuba diving. Since the housing is lightweight but rugged, it is ideal for photographing surfing and other water sports when you need to be in the water, but near the surface.
