The Photogenic StudioMax III AC/DC Constant Color monolight is microprocessor controlled, and it allows use of the light away from sources of AC power (hence the name "Wireless"), when the Photogenic AKB-1 Battery Pack (available separately) is added. It offers a full 6 f/stop power range in 0.1 stop increments, and a 100 watt modeling light for ease of aiming when using AC power.
Each AKC320BR monolight has a built-in Photogenic Radio Slave, which will fire the unit when triggered from your camera with your transceiver or transmitter.
Each light is an excellent choice as a main, secondary, or background. Since it accepts the entire line of the PowerLight reflectors, grids, snoots, and diffusers, the StudioMax III is a good investment.
This two monolight, 640 total watt/second kit is capable of operating with the optional Photogenic or Quantum Turbo battery packs, for working outdoors away from AC power. It includes 45" white reflective umbrellas, 8' air cushioned light stands, and a hard shell, wheeled kit case.
