You can't beat SanDisk as far as I am concerned. There products are dependable and have never failed me yet. I am a serious amateur / semi-pro (if there is such a thing). I just shot my first wedding and have taken thousands of soccer pictures. I have a Canon EOS 5D and Canon EOS 40D. I picked up the SanDisk at a Photoshop users seminar mainly because of the price and rebate offer. I usually shoot with the 8 GB SanDisk Extreme IV. Knowing that this card would be slower, I choose to try it any way just because of the extra room[$]You can tell the difference between the two cards especially when shooting 6 frames per second with the Canon EOS 40D. I would not recommend them if you are shooting action / sporting events. If you are taking landscape or portraits, then they are great for lots of images. This was a good bargain but I am going to keep with the higher speed cards like the Extreme IV.

I always use Sandisk cards and this one is great like the others. Purchased this one recently for use with my new 5D Mark II and it does not disappoint. Holds about 500 RAW images at full size on the Mark II and over 4,000 large jpegs on the 1D Mark III or IIN.
