This kit is presented by B&H as the ideal solution for the outdoor enthusiast buying a new Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS Lens. In addition to the lens, this kit includes a dedicated Lens Cover (made by LensCoat) in the Realtree Max4 HD camouflage pattern, which offers maximum effectiveness in open terrain. It covers the lens with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat, also offering protection from bumps, jars and nicks. Also included is the Hoodie (in same color), which is a neoprene hood cover that fits easily and snugly around your lens hood in either the shooting position or reversed.
The Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS Lens is an exceptional optic with robust design and tack sharp results. Second-generation Image Stabilization responds in as little as 0.5 seconds, while providing stabilization that is three times as hand holdable as a normal lens. The IS automatically deactivates when on a tripod to conserve battery power.
- Rubber O-ring can be combined with EOS 1V and EF "II" teleconverters for near imperviousness to moisture exposure
- Two-stage Image Stabilization can correct for all types of camera shake or just up/down shake (for use when panning with a moving subject)
- Focus limiter switch
- Shorter minimum focusing distance and higher maximum magnification than its 70-200mm f/2.8 L predecessor
